The wait is nearly over – JAECOO UK has officially confirmed pricing and specifications for its brand-new compact SUV, the JAECOO 5, arriving later this summer. After making a bold statement at its UK dynamic debut during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the JAECOO 5 is ready to hit UK roads, priced from £24,505 OTR*.
A smaller sibling to the popular JAECOO 7, the JAECOO 5 brings the same rugged styling and outdoor-focused ethos to a new corner of the SUV market, delivering a premium, versatile and stylish option for drivers who want it all – practicality, comfort, and standout looks.
Designed for the Everyday Adventure
Drawing inspiration from the great outdoors, the JAECOO 5 features a striking upright silhouette, wide shoulders, and the brand’s distinctive signature waterfall grille. Its body lines are inspired by dramatic mountain ridges and natural landscapes – rugged in appearance but refined in purpose. This is a car designed for busy, style-conscious drivers who want capability without compromising on comfort.
Inside, the JAECOO 5 offers a spacious and calming cabin built around practicality and premium touches. There’s room for five adults, two ISOFIX points in the rear for families, and a quiet, refined atmosphere thanks to double-layered silent glass.

The JAECOO 5’s front-wheel-drive platform has been fine-tuned for UK roads by Chery International’s European R&D centre, ensuring a dynamic yet comfortable drive whether you’re navigating city streets or tackling longer journeys.

Pricing & Availability
The JAECOO 5 is available to order now through OMODA & JAECOO UK’s 75+ dealer network, priced from £24,505 OTR* for Pure specification and £28,000 OTR* for Luxury.
Deliveries are expected to begin from October 2025, and every model comes with a 7-year/100,000-mile warranty (with unlimited mileage for the first three years) and RAC Home Start included as standard.
